Overview
Sara Graham's research interests include the evaluation of health and community services for older people and people with disabilities. Since her retirement from SPRC in 1995, she has been active in the community sector. She is a member of the NSW Home and Community Care State Advisory Committee, on the Board of Carers NSW and the Policy Advisory Committeee of the Council on Ageing (COTA, NSW), She represents COTA on the NSW Primary Care Reference Group, established by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care. She is a founding member of theAdvance Care Directive Association Inc, a non profit organisation incorporated in 2002 and has collaborated with four other founding members from the health and welfare sectors to write a book called My Health, My Future, My Choice: An Advance Care Directive for NSW.

She is a founding member of the Advance Care Directive Association Inc, a non profit organisation incorporated in 2002 and, as such, has collaborated with four other founding members from the health and welfare sectors to write a book called My Health, My Future, My Choice: An Advance Care Directive for NSW. She is currently collaborating with the same group in the writing of a book on substitute decision making. She works as a volunteer for the Telecross Service of the Red Cross and for Medicin Sans Frontieres.
