Overview

Ching Choi is an Associate Professor at the Australian Demographic & Social Research Institute (ADSRI), Australian National University, where he graduated in demography. Past positions Dr Choi has held include Director of Demography at the Australian Bureau of Statistics, and Head of Welfare and Health Divisions at the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. His research focuses on health, disability and labour force participation as well as suicide, particularly in Australia. He has recently worked on comorbidity of suicides using death and hospital data, and has published on various demographic topics and health and welfare issues.
