The project reviewed the redevelopment of three large residential disability services with:

  1. a project performance analysis to gauge the effectiveness of the resources uses, determine the degree to which the project achieved sustained outcomes and whether Ageing, Disability and Home Care (NSW Department of Family and Community Services) achieved its objectives and lessons from the redevelopment process; and 
  2. a quality of life study to determine the degree to which sustained improvements in quality of life were achieved. 

Methods included document review, site observation, interviews, secondary data analysis and measurement and analysis of standardised quality of life measures.
