The Department of Social Services commissioned the Social Policy Research Centre to conduct a review of the National Disability Strategy 2010-2020, Australia's overarching national framework for disability reform. The objective of the review is to look back over the implementation of the Strategy and provide advice on successful implementation processes and measures to inform the development of a new framework for beyond 2020. The review will also inform later stages of the framework development, which will include public consultations by the Department. The review will involve a document review of existing evidence about the Strategy and targeted stakeholder consultations across Australia.
