SPRC conducted research into the impact of spinal cord injury on people’s life experiences and identified gaps and barriers to achieving self fulfilment. This research, for Spinal Cord Injuries Australia, included key informant roundtables, in-depth interviews with 15 people with a spinal cord injury and a survey of SCIA members. SCIA used the results of the research to set strategic directions that enable each person with a spinal cord injury to choose from a range of life choices.
