The South Australian Government commissioned SPRC, in partnership with Époque Consulting and JFA Purple Orange, to evaluate the Intensive Home-based Support Services (IHBSS). Under this mental health program, non-government organisations, working in partnership with mental health services, provide intensive home-based support services to people following a hospital admission or who are at risk of being admitted to hospital. The evaluation commenced in October 2014 and involves a process and outcomes evaluation, and a cost-effectiveness analysis. It uses mixed methods, including an analysis of program data and interviews with program participants and service providers.
