The South Australian Government has commissioned SPRC, in partnership with Époque Consulting, to evaluate the Crisis Respite Services. Under this mental health program, mental health services and non-government organisations provide recovery orientated sub-acute crisis respite services to people following a hospital admission. The evaluation commenced in February 2015 and involves a process and outcomes evaluation, and a cost-effectiveness analysis. It uses mixed methods, including an analysis of program data and interviews with program participants and service providers. The evaluation is expected to be complete in late 2015/early 2016.
