Project Status: Archive
People Involved: Peter Saunders, Melissa Wong
Research Areas: Policy Design, Impact & Evaluation
Funding Agency: NSW Ombudsman

This project provided advice to the NSW Child Death Review Team, now located in the Ombudsman's Office, about how to develop indicators of socioeconomic status (SES) for use in its annual reporting to establish the SES of children who die and examine if there is an association between SES and the incidence of child deaths. The research also advised on how best to report on the geographic distribution of child deaths in NSW.
