Eugenia obtained a Masters in Policy and Applied Social Research from Macquarie University and a BA (Economics and Sociology & Anthropology) degree from the University of New South Wales. She has policy and program evaluation experience from working in Government and has previously worked in a Non-profit organisation.

Research summary

Peak bodies or umbrella organisations have been neglected in social policy scholarship and there are gaps in knowledge about how to theorise their role and contribution to the policy processin Australia. Using a mixed methods approach, Eugenia's study seeks to examine the role Australian Charities and Not-for profit peak bodies play in influencing policy and the community sector.
