The SPRC has the strongest concentration of social policy researchers in Australia.
The Centre’s broad skills-base stems from its multi-disciplinary staffing profile that includes economists, sociologists, statisticians, social policy analysts, political scientists and experts in social work, child development, demography, psychology, law, public health and history. Research is conducted on a team basis to encourage creative interactions and maximise intellectual and practical synergies.
