This is a summary report of stage one (data collection and description) of a two stage research project designed to extend the project undertaken by SPRC in 2009, Labour Dynamics and the Non-Government Community Services Workforce in NSW. The findings will help in the development of capacity building and workforce development plans in the disability and community services sector. An interim report presenting preliminary descriptive analysis of the data collected via an online survey of government funded NGOs in NSW is now available (PDF). Colmar Brunton Social Research (CBSR) was subcontracted by SPRC to undertake the descriptive analysis presented in this report. Further analysis of this data will be undertaken during stage 2 of the NGO Profiling Project. |
